Surfing in Kauai
At the end of January, we took our traditional winter trip to Hawaii. This year we went back to Kauai (well, it was new for Jory).
And of course, the first thing we did was learn to surf!

Back Blog: The Harlem Globetrotters
For KC's Christmas present, I bought us all tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters. As you might expect, the experience was different for each of us.
What does Jory remember? Eating a shocking amount of popcorn and dancing to The Panda Song. He went crazy when the music started!

Back Blog: The Christmas Train
A few days before Christmas 2013, I bundled Jory up - it's hard to believe, but it was really cold! - and took him to see the special CalTrain Christmas Train.
There was a band with carolers, and Marines handing out candy canes, and Santa, Frosty, and Rudolph were there too! Jory liked Frosty, but he was deeply suspicious of Rudolph.
He was also suspicious of strangers trying to help me capture Christmas memories, unfortunately.
