Jory in Florence (part I)

Jory, Mommy, and Daddy had a wonderful trip to Florence, with stunning churches, beautiful sunsets over the Arno, sumptuous meals, and David in all his glory.

This is actually the second time Jory has been photoed with this spacesuit in the Frankfurt airport:

And here he is in front of the Pitti Palace where we ran around before dinner and found this lion/bathtub fountain (this is about as close as he came to a bath while in Italy :)

Jory also learned all about photobombing, and he is now in about 10,000 photos from the duomo, fueled by Florence's best gelato!

There was this boar statue by our apartment; here's several renditions of Jory!

Arrivederci!

Firenze part II

These are stranger than the last lot.
Jory in a giant spoon! (There was a three story wall near our apartment covered in giant spoons...)

Jory had a birthday dinner at Enoteca Pincchiori, the Michelin three-star restaurant, and they got him a helium balloon! They didn't tie it tight enough, so it flew up to the ceiling and the tuxedoed maitre d' had to climb a ladder to get it!

This is in the crypt of one of the churches...

And here's Jory on the walls of Santa Maria Novella:

The cloisters had a funny face on the wall that Jory imitated:

Halloween starts early!

Jory found a mask at Goodwill:
He discovered by himself that there are two LEDs in the front that he can activate, so in a power outage, we can count on Spider-Man to rescue us!

We also visited Grandpa and did a short drive around the driveway in his new car!
