I think there are two problems with this scenario: the first is that Auntie Virginia isn't doing the reading, and the second is the ridiculous amount of striped clothing Jory is wearing! I wouldn't be happy wearing that, either, and given the fact that I haven't taken off my pajamas yet today, that's saying something!
