During our recent trip to visit Jory's grandparents in Milwaukee, KC and I took Jory to the Milwaukee Public Museum. It was the last day of their big pirates exhibit, which we didn't see, but we did take the opportunity for a pirate-related photo-op. Oddly, this pirate reminds me of my grandfather:
Then we took Jory to the butterfly garden, which is always lovely. KC managed to attract a butterfly so Jory could get a closer (non-grabbing) look:
For the last few weeks Jory and I have been catching moths near the Menlo Park library, so even though he's got a vocabulary of about 70 words, one of those words is "moth."
Thanks to Jory's grandparents for encouraging us to visit the museum!
